F.A.Q (IMPORTANT STUFF).
Please read this before making a booking enquiry.

deposits
Once your tattoo idea has been cleared and confirmed I will need to take a deposit via bank transfer to finalise your appointment.
Without a deposit I cannot hold your date so please have this ready when you make your enquiry.
Deposits are usually £70-£100 & go towards the final price of your tattoo. They are not an added cost!
(E.G if the total price of your tattoo is £200. You pay £100 upfront and just the remaining £100 on the day.)
Your deposit can be withheld in the following instances:
You cancel your appointment at any time.
You reschedule your appointment with less than 72 hours notice.
You reschedule your appointment for a second+ time.
You are 30+ minutes late.
You change your custom idea.
how do bookings work?
I am currently working predominantly between London and Bristol.
My availability and whereabouts will be clear in my instagram bio, regularly updated on my stories and in my "guest | spots" highlight folder.

If you'd like to book for any of my available dates, please follow the instructions given on the relevant post. Generally this involves sending an enquiry form which can be found on the "bookings" page of this website.
Don't forget to include your reference pictures!

can i see my design before my appointment?
Unfortunately this is not possible for a number of reasons.
On the day of your appointment however I will have an idea/ some ideas all sketched up for you and then there will be plenty of time for us to sit down together, have a little cup of tea and make any changes or adjustments necessary until your design is totally 100% perfect! We will have time to play around with placement ideas, sizes and all the other details. You will never be rushed to make decisions and I will always do my best to accommodate your requests for alterations within whatever is technically possible.

is your ink vegan?
Yes. All the inks I use are vegan.
tipping
Tipping for tattoos works like any other service. If you have had a really great experience and want to give a little extra it’s always appreciated, weather this be in money, flowers, food or something you’ve crafted or created yourself.
Of course, tipping is certainly not expected and you will not look bad if you don’t!
would you tattoo mine/my friend/a famous artists drawing on me?
My priority will always be with tattooing my own designs but I will consider this if I happen to have space that needs filling.
With regards to tattooing existing artworks by famous painters etc- this would be decided on an as-and-when basis. I am not comfortable copying the work of currently living/ working artists without permission but would consider "renditions" of works created by artists such as Van Gogh, Matisse etc.
do I need to shave?

cash / card ?
Bank Transfer is ideal but I can take cash or paypal payments too.
Can I bring a friend/parent/partner to my appointment?
Sorry, no- I'm not able to accommodate plus ones in the studio for a number of reasons. If you'd like to have a friend-on-demand there are usually a number of nice cafes in the area surrounding the studios I tend to work at where they can wait until your appointment is over. I promise you are in safe and welcoming hands with me and I will do everything I can to make you feel at home.
how do I prepare for a tattoo?
On the day of your appointment please make sure to eat a proper meal in advance.
It is important that your blood sugar levels are nice and high so if you want to bring snacks or a can of something sweet that’s a great.
Clothing wise ; wearing something loose and soft on the area you’re getting tattooed is advisable. If we are tattooing in an "awkward" area and you’re not comfortable taking your clothes off perhaps bring a couple of options in your bag that we can choose from. For example for back tattoos , a button up shirt or zip up hoodie that you can wear back to front is great. For hips, side tie bikini's are a smart idea.
If you have any special requirements or requests for ways I can make the tattooing experience feel safe and comfortable for you please let me know in advance so that I can do my best to accommodate your needs. Most studios offer privacy dividers on request.
aftercare
When your tattoo is finished I will wrap it up with either clingfilm or a sticky film called "second skin".
It is likely that your fresh tattoo will seep a little blood / ink / plasma so to protect both the open skin and your clothing keep the clingfilm wrap on for roughly 3-5 hours - so long as you are safely home in a clean environment when removing it.
If you have been given a second skin wrap I would recommend leaving this on overnight. Avoid having a shower until the following day and take the second skin layer off in the shower. Please use the "command strip" method when peeling off your second skin, or google search how to peel off second skin correctly before removing.
Wash your hands prior to taking the wrap off and then give your tattoo a clean under warm (not hot!) water; ensuring you remove any excess ink/blood etc. You can use a non-scented natural soap when you wash your tattoo. Do not use any scented soaps or body washes. Do not scrub hard, scratch at the fresh tattoo while washing it , or let it soak in the water for an extended period of time.
Once you have washed the excess debris off pat the area dry with a clean towel/ paper towel (no toilet roll) and leave it uncovered to breath for the remainder of the day/overnight.
The following morning - wash your hands and tattoo again and apply a thin layer of aftercare cream.
I recommend “Hustle Butter” which you can purchase online or Coco Butter Formula by Palmers (fragrance free version).
Follow this procedure for roughly 2-4 weeks. You should wash & dry your tattoo as explained 2/3 times per day and apply cream 2/3 times per day after wash/drying it. (You don’t need to re-wrap the tattoo or leave it to breath overnight every time after washing it- just on the first day.)
During the 2-4 week healing process it’s essential that you avoid sunbathing or sunbeds, fake tans or scented moisturisers etc on the area around the tattoo (other than the one you’re using specifically for healing). Do NOT submerge your tattoo in water - No swimming, no baths, no beach holidays (and no saunas or steam rooms).
It’s possible your tattoo will get a bit itchy as it heals; NO picking or scratching!
If you can avoid very strenuous exercise for as long as or as much as possible (within the 2-4 week healing period) this is also recommended. If you absolutely have to work out make sure you give the tattoo an extra wash and dry straight after to avoid the bacteria and excess moisture from your sweat settling into the open skin. Think about your clothing choices when exercising with your fresh tattoo. Be careful of fabrics that might irritate the skin/ cause any chaffing etc.
Once the 2-4 week healing time is up - send me a picture so I can see how it’s looking!
If you have followed your aftercare routine vigilantly and it still looks like your tattoo could need a bit of a touch up, don’t hesitate to let me know. Touch ups are free if you let me know you need one soon after the immediate healing period- unless it is very obvious the tattoo has been neglected during the process. .
what is flash?
“Flash” designs are the pre-drawn designs you can find on my instagram highlight reels.
Even though they are not custom drawn specifically for you, each and every one is still uniquely yours and will only be tattooed once unless clearly stated otherwise !
If you see a flash design you like but it’s no longer available I am generally happy to draw up something similar for you.
how much is a tattoo?
My minimum cost is generally £150 but my tattoos are priced according to a bunch of different factors including design, placement and size etc.
When confirming your appointment (after receiving a booking enquiry form) I will provide a quote with a bracket guide for the final price.
If you have a budget for your concept in mind I am always happy to chat about what is possible and try to find ways to create something cool for you within what you can afford.
I'm not able to make it to the city you're in- can i get someone else to tattoo your design on me?
This is something I may consider but I would expect an open dialogue about it in advance.
I would want to vet the concept and artist among other details before confirming I was comfortable with it.
IF we did agree on this arrangement we could discuss a design fee from there.
scars
I am happy to and have experience in tattooing over/around scars as long as they are fully healed (1+ years old).
My work is not suited to fully covering anything up as it uses a great deal of negative space to make it what it is. Whatever design we create, you will likely still see some of the scarring underneath the tattoo. Unfortunately, this is impossible to avoid without using any shading or blackwork techniques.
If you are still happy to go ahead you can send a photo of the area in your enquiry (If you’re comfortable with this) to help me get an idea of how to design your tattoo around or over your scars.

colour
I primarily work with black ink but I also stock a classic blue and a lovely henna/terracotta brown as standard. Please make sure to let me know if you want colour in your initial enquiry in case my stock needs updating. Any other colour requests would be decided on an as-and-when basis.
cover ups
can I get more than one tattoo in the same sitting?
I do not do cover ups as my work is not suited to actually covering anything up, but I love tattooing "blast overs" where we collage /weave or play with interactions over and around your existing tattoos.
Yes! As long as you let me know when you make your initial enquiry so that I can ensure I have enough time for everything.
I generally do good deal prices on getting multiple tattoos at the same time so this is a better option if you’re on a tighter budget but want lots of stuff from me.
No. I will shave the area we are tattooing for you if necessary.
